Spreading ideas...manga style!
We all know TED is about ideas worth spreading. I had the chance to speak about my idea worth spreading during TED2010 at TEDActive's TEDYou session where I talked about my work as a mangaka creating stories that promote science literacy and skepticism. After my post conference TEDache had faded, I worked on my (Unofficial) Manga Guide to TED, which later became @TEDChris "approved":
@TEDChris: Me too! RT @ProfBrianCox Proud of my cameo appearance in the Manga Guide to TED :-) @saramayhew http://bit.ly/dAoKRU
Soon, I'll be doing my small part to show what great idea-spreaders the TED Fellows are while I speak in Hollywood at the end of the month. I'll be opening the discussions at the Center for Inquiry's science cafe, Cafe Inquiry, where the topic will be Skepticism Through Manga! Hopefully, my small presentation will inspire others to spread ideas in fine TED-like fashion.
