Teru Kuwayama wins Knight News Challenge
Now that US Marines can use Facebook and Twitter, how will everyday Americans’ connection to the war in Afghanistan change? TED Fellow Teru Kuwayama recently won the Knight News Challenge for his plan to join the 1st Battalion, Eighth Marines as an embedded journalist, chronicling the effects of the Marine’s new policy.
